Glass Taster- Introduction to Fusing $150
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
This fun 3 hr. workshop will introduce you to the world of glass fusing. Learn from an accomplished artist in her well-appointed studio (all tools and materials provided). Participants will create a 6”x6” piece of their own and if time permits, another small dish.
You will:
Learn about the amazing properties & possibilities that glass offers the artist
Learn how to cut glass safely with different styles of cutters
Learn about firing and annealing, and how it can be surprising!
Explore colour combinations and textures with glass

Advanced Fused Glass $300
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
Take your glass to new heights in this 6 hour bespoke workshop led by glass artist Jane Wright in her studio & gallery. You will make up to 2 detailed beautiful glass pieces which will be fired and then be slumped into moulds. Jane will guide you through more advanced techniques of glass fusing to bring your piece to life. The only limit is your imagination!
You will:
Learn to cut curves
Explore the use of coloured frit, rods and stringers.
Learn about different firing techniques (full fusing, contour fusing, tack fusing)
Confidently combine layers to create depth with your glass

Glass Fusing Private Parties
Reserve time in the studio for your next gathering with friends, family or co-workers of up to 6 people.
Prices start at $300 for a 2.5 hour session. Includes all materials, tools, and kiln firings. Exact total is dependent on project choice, group size and specific materials.
Optional: Bring music and snacks if desired. Please contact me prior to event for extras like catering, adult beverages, and kids options.

Open Studio $200 for 5 hours
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
Perfect for advanced fusers as well as those looking to work in a studio space on larger projects. Includes use of all equipment, tools and two firings. Choose from a large selection of glass. Finished pieces are priced by the pound for the glass.
